If you are interested in obtaining your professional teaching license from a state-approved program, please contact Susan Kohler at skohler@fgcu.edu. Our next cohort is in the planning stages, but we are advising applicants to begin taking the required courses. To see the FGCU course schedule, go to www.fgcu.edu and click on Gulfline at the top and then Course Schedule. The Teacher Immersion Program (TIP) is a state-approved program for those who hold bachelors degrees in areas other than education and who seek to become certified FL teachers. Upon completion of TIP, you will be a well-qualified, competent teacher who will make a positive difference in the lives of thousands of students. TIP includes graduate courses, an internship, classroom observation opportunities, and numerous specialized workshops to fully prepare you for the classroom. TIP fulfills your career dreams of making a difference in the lives of children.
